First Flight Archery participates in USA Archery's Junior Olympic Archery Development program. All members are encouraged to participate in local tournaments.

• Advanced JOAD/ Adult Archery: Tuesdays 6 - 7:30 pm, Requires Blue Pin or Coach approval

• Beginner / Intermediate JOAD: Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 pm

• All equipment provided for Intro to Archery (more info below). Intro classes Saturdays 4:30pm, Tuesday 1pm

Raleigh Revolution

The Raleigh Revolution Competition Team grew out of our JOAD program and consists of members that show exceptional interest, ability and dedication to the sport. Raleigh Revolution are involved in state, regional and national competitions held by NFAA, USA Archery and S3DA, and hold records in several divisions.

Archery Classes & Lessons

Intro to Archery: Saturdays 4:30 pm (please arrive 15 min early) This is a 1 hour long class with a group of up to 10 archers designed for beginners to learn to shoot. Classes are typically available from March - Mid August, check availability in link below.

Intro to Archery: Tuesdsay 1pm classes available year round, (please arrive 15 min early) check link below for dates and availability.

Private Lessons:

Individual or small group lessons for beginners through advanced archers looking to refine their technique.

Intro Classes - $35/person (Saturdays 4:30-5:30 pm or 6 - 7pm, Tuesdays 1pm)

This hour long class teaches individuals the basics. From learning the parts and pieces to shooting, this intro covers it all.  All equipment is provided for this class, All lesson and classes are prepaid to reserve your spot. Intro is offered February - Mid August - Registration link above.

Individual & Group Lessons

• 1 Person: $75

• 2 People: $90

• 3 People: $120

• 4 or more: $35 per person

JOAD & Adult Archery (Junior Olympic Archery Development) - $75/month

JOAD is the official youth development program of the USA Olympic Archery program, Adult Archery is a similar programmed designed for adults.

Class is held once a week:

Tuesday 6-7:30pm (advanced class)

Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm (beginner/ intermediate)

Thursday 6:30-7:30 (beginner/ Intermediate)

If you are using shop equipment there is an additional fee of $25/Month.

Family rate $175/month (3 immediate family members, +$25 for each additional family member).

Advantages to JOAD and Adult Archery:

• Environment encourages focus, self-confidence, and team

• Organized program format grows with the archer

• Archers may shoot recurve or compound

• Certified instructors

• Recreational or competitive focus

• Open to ages 8 to 18 (younger with coach approval)
